Privacy Policy — Virus Attack!
Effective date: 22 September 2026 Developer: Cubic Pixel (www.cubicpixel.co)
Virus Attack! is built to be played, not to watch you. This page explains exactly what the game does and does not do with your information. The short version: we do not collect, store or share any personal data.
1. What we collect
Nothing.
Virus Attack! has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. The game never sends information about you or your device to us or to anyone else. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to find out.
2. What stays on your device
The game saves a small amount of information on your own device so it can remember where you left off:
- Your progress: levels unlocked, stars earned and best scores
- Your endless mode records: best score and furthest wave
- Your preferences: game speed, control mode, music track, and whether music and sound are on
- Whether the end-of-game celebration has been shown
- The date the game was first opened on the device
This information is stored locally using Apple's standard app storage. It never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and deleting the app deletes it.
3. Game Center
If you choose to sign in to Apple's Game Center, the game can submit your scores to leaderboards and report your achievements. This is handled entirely by Apple through Game Center, under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your Game Center identity, player name or friends list. Game Center is optional: if you don't sign in, the game plays exactly the same and nothing is submitted.
4. In-app purchases
Virus Attack! is free to play. If a full-game unlock is ever offered, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, and the only thing the game keeps is a note on your device that the unlock has been bought, so it can be restored with the App Store's standard "Restore Purchases" feature.
5. Children
Virus Attack! is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
6. Permissions
The game asks for no device permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location or any other personal information.
7. Third parties
The only third party involved is Apple, through the App Store, Game Center and in-app purchases, each governed by Apple's own privacy policy. There are no advertising networks, analytics providers or social networks in the game.
8. Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. Continued use of the game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
